Celebrity couple Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi have joined the cast of the upcoming series starring James Reid and Nadine Lustre, producer Dreamscape said on Friday.
Actress Angel Aquino and comedian Pokwang will also be a part of “Till I Met You.” The details surrounding their roles, however, were not revealed.
To be directed by Antoinette Jadaone, “Till I Met You” will start airing in September. Its first trailer has started speculation that the series will tackle the subject of gay romance.
In past interviews, both Reid and Lustre shared that their new show will be more “mature” than their previous outing, “On the Wings of Love” (OTWOL), which was also helmed by Jadaone.
Reid went as far as to say that the story in “Till I Met You” is better than “OTWOL,” a kilig-filled romantic series that touched on the plight of overseas Filipino workers and concluded last February to strong ratings.
